Jitender Dangi is a painter of exceptional narrative depth and visual intensity. His artistic practice is deeply rooted in India’s mythological and folk traditions, yet his treatment of subject matter is refreshingly contemporary and personal. Dangi is the recipient of the Kala Parishad Award, Bhopal, and his work has been widely exhibited across India in cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bhopal, Thane, Jabalpur, Ujjain, Amritsar, and Allahabad. His recent solo exhibition at Gallery Silver Scapes, New Delhi, received critical acclaim and was sold out—a testament to the growing appreciation for his artistic voice.

His works are part of prestigious collections including Bharat Bhawan, the Archaeology Department in Bhopal, the National Science Centre, New Delhi, and private collections of eminent collectors and institutions across the country.

Currently based in Bhopal, Dangi continues to develop his oeuvre with an unwavering commitment to narrative detail and symbolic richness.
