Born in 1967 in Shimla, Ghanshyam is an alumnus of the Govt. College of Art, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India. Beginning from realistic paintings and pen sketching portraits, he has subsequently moved to paint series like Landscape acrylic painting, paintings of Varanasi Ghats, Indian Village paintings, Temples of Banaras and Street scenes. His mountainscapes have the power of reminding us about the well-known artist Nicholas Roerich. He can paint the sceneries or monuments at a distance or in close stations without compromising on the worth and quality of the artwork.
