Bhuwal Prasad
In 1987, Bhuwal Prasad was born in Azamgarh. 2010 saw him graduate from BHU’s Faculty of Visual Arts in Varanasi, and in 2012 he finished his post-graduation studies at the College of Arts in Delhi. From a very young age, Bhuwal began experimenting with many types of sketches and paintings. The artist fell in love with abstract art’s modernism despite being greatly influenced by tribal art. His goal was to combine the simplicity and purity of tribal paintings with the abstract art’s free-flowing energy. Bhuwal began creating paintings that blend the beauty and tranquilly of both, acting on his instincts and creating utterly delightful works of art. Tribal art, which is based on simple line drawings and used by them to express their emotions and their stories, is made using natural colors and found objects.
