Bimini Khan

Bimini Khan

She was born in Itawa. The peaceful energies of Bimmi’s paintings captivate you and drown out the noise and bustle of the city. A peaceful Russian neighbourhood, a beach in Corfu, or a hillside in Ladakh may all be imagined when viewing her artwork. Being a self-taught painter, Bimmi’s works have a very modest beginning despite their tremendous power to transport the viewer. Though primarily self-taught, Bimmi’s compositions exhibit a high level of competence, showcasing both a command of the medium and a reasonable amount of restraint in her evocations. The artist has been painting for ten to fifteen years.  The presence of dry pastels, the easy availability of soft board, and the urge to paint led Bimini down a path of self-discovery that has resulted in a vast body of work.
