I am a Delhi based freelance visual artist. Creating art is something I have always enjoyed and consider myself to be fortunate to be able to pursue it. I am inspired by nature and love to draw and paint animals. My artistic journey is driven by the emotional connections I observe in the animal world—especially their expressions, behaviour and moments of vulnerability. The representation of elephant in art has been my favourite subject. To me, elephants are more than just majestic creatures—they are symbols of strength, emotion, and deep familial bonds. These gentle giants express joy, grief, compassion, and love in profoundly moving ways. I strive to capture this emotional richness in my work, using careful attention to texture, shading, and detail. Their happiness, especially when surrounded by their loved ones, continues to inspire my artistic exploration. Painting continued alongside my formal education. I improved my skills and visual vocabulary under tutelage of master artists in Triveni Kala Sangam. I am adept at working with various media though oil, pen and charcoal remain my favourite medium. Over the years, I have participated in more than 80 group exhibitions at reputed art galleries across India.
