Sandeep Jigdung

The beautiful vivid landscapes, hills, forests, flowers, and birds that characterise the works of artist Sandeep Jigdung are poetic representations of his passion for the natural world. He was raised in the tranquil surroundings of Diphu, Assam, and was constantly surrounded by the breathtaking views that the area had to offer.

Sandeep was captivated by comic books and storybooks and had an early affinity for drawing. “I paint to try to relive the past and cherish my childhood memories.” 2013 saw him take part in the United Art Fair following his completion of his BFA and MFA in painting from the College of Arts in New Delhi.
