Sidharth M Pansari
1956 saw the birth of Sidharth in Bassian, Punjab. The artist graduated with a diploma in painting from Chandigarh’s College of Art. To tell his story, which is frequently strongly related to ancient Indian literature, folk songs, mythology, music, and poetry, he plays with shapes, images, and textures—both new and old.
His early years were the start of his path towards mysticism. The numerous strands of religious philosophy that have affected him include Zen, Sufism, Osho, Tibetan Buddhism, the Guru Granth Sahib, and the compassion of the Madonna. His art is passionate and sophisticated, a unique cross-cultural achievement. The viewer experiences each picture in a highly personal and spiritual way, which the artist hopes will help the viewer come to a universal knowledge of human culture.
